About Us:
ABLE helps Wayne County, Ohio adults prepare for their GEDs, college and vocational school entrance exams, learn to read, improve math and writing skills, improve English language skills, and promotes family literacy, positive parenting and lifelong learning.  

Our Programs:
We are a partnership of three programs:  Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE), English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and Families Learning Together (FLT).

Our Funding:  
All of our programs are offered FREE to the Wayne County Community.  ABLE is a program of Wayne County Schools Career Center - Adult and Community Education.  All services provided are FREE through grants from the Ohio Board of Regents/University System of Ohio-State ABLE OfficeUnited Way of Wayne and Holmes Counties, and Orrville Area United Way.  Supplemental grants have been provided through the Dollar General Literacy FoundationWooster Rotary International Literacy CommitteeWayne County Community Foundation, and the Sisters of Charity Foundation.

GED test scholarships are available to enrolled ABLE students through our partnership with the H.O.P.E Fund Pay It Forward Scholarship.  Please call the ABLE Office for more details or go to the HOPE Fund website for more information on eligibility.
